ipad 2011 Predictions ~ Reasons why you should wait!

The ipad, oh how it was mocked. But now it leads the tablet industry and is one of Apple's best selling gadgets.Trust me when I say, is that Apple will have plans to make you want to throw your old ipad away for the new 2011 model. Here are my predictions, on what we can expect to see next year.

Release Date: Apple will release Ipad 2.0 sometime between January and April. Knowing Apple, they won't let it sit for long once all the holiday madness is over. That's how they get you. You buy a Ipad for Christmas, and then shortly next year, they make you regret it.

Camera, For Sure: This is a no brainier, but the Ipad needs a camera. Since Apple is supporting this new Facetime feature, they will want to extend support for the ipad to. You can expect one on the front, and most likey one on the back. Not sure what specs the cameras will be, but expect iphone quality or better.

Retina Display, possible: The screen will most likely approve its quality, but its still questionable if it will go Retina. Apple has been bragging about the tech on its Iphone 4, and it may want to make this move to complete with other ereaders like the Kindle. Depends if Apple can make it work at this time, and do it with low costs.

USB looking slim: If Apple is going to play the camera card, it may still want to hold onto this one. Apple and Steve Jobs like to keep control of the ports, and adding USB would make room for Third Party accessories. Which would be good news for us, but not so good news for Apple. It may happen, but I doubt it will at this early in the game.

Thinner and Lighter, yes, barely: Apple will probably be able to slave a tiny bit of space off the ipad cause they like their stuff thin, but not much.You can expect more disk drive space, and a faster processor. As those are given. Its also a good chance the gyroscope senors will be updated as well for better gaming and tilting.

That is what you can expect from the upcoming Ipad. Facetime? Yes Cameras? Yes Retina Display? Maybe USB? Unlikey

It's clear that Apple won't play all of these features, as they will want you to buy gen 3 when the time comes. But the 2nd generation of  Ipad is looking to be a pretty stable well made tablet which will work for most people.
