The Dilemma, directed by Ron Howard, is a unfunny, boring comedy. It's a shame to, cause Ron Howard has made some great drama work like Apollo 13 and A Beautiful Mind, both excellent films.
But when he decides to make a comedy, things just fall flat. First off, the plot is something you expect to see on some tv show. Ronny and Nick are best friends who have been though thick and thin. Now they are running their own business together and have a great idea that will put them on the map.
But the craziness goes down when Ronny see's his best friends wife cheating on him. So he tries to sneak around, climb trees, and takes a picture to tell his friend, but is worried what that would do to their friendship.
The movie is a bit Adam Slander style and there is a lot of slapstick, which usually falls flat. The acting is alright for Vice Van and Kevin James, but sometimes you just want Vice to shut up cause at some parts of the movie he rambles on for to long. The plot is uninteresting and you'll be wondering why this dilemma isn't over yet when the movie is halfway though.
You'll be better off dealing with your own Dilemma's then watching this movie.
